A convention of the trade, honestly drawn - not a rule, and not advice about anyone's scalp.
Use
The finder, the chart and the family guides are free to use, personally or
professionally, without an account and without asking. The numbered system belongs to the
trade; the drawings, the finder and the writing are this site’s.
Accuracy
The conventions were verified as described on the About page, and they remain
conventions: the system has known critics, subtype boundaries drift between guides, and
this site says so where it matters. Corrections through the contact page are applied to
the dataset, which fixes every page at once.
No warranty
The site is tested and it is still software. With JavaScript off the pages still show
every drawn pattern and explain the system by hand. Nothing here is medical or
trichological advice.
